NO SMOKING THANK YOU 3/1/13

We have recently heard in the news of non smokers being shocked to hear the doctor’s report that they have lung cancer or some other variety of cancers and other smoke related diseases when they do not smoke that is affecting tobacco smokers.

These non smokers are a victim of second hand smoke, or passive smoking.

Pets of smokers, other animals and wildlife around smokers are also seriously effected by the toxic carcinogenic smoke that is released into their lungs and the atomosphere as soon as the cigarettes etc are lit up.

We have even more recently heard that the minister in charge of the tobacco companies refuses to remove all cigarette packaging off the shelves that have been unlawfully covered with advertising by the tobacco companies after the government won a court battle against the tobacco companies to use only plain packaging, with the minister making up the incorrect excuse to the media that there is nothing she can do about it. Yes she can, she can remove all these cigarettes off the shelves. She can further immediately BAN ALL TOBACCO and remove all the cigarettes, cigars etc off the shelves permanently.

Wildlife Carers Group got involved in lobbying the government to ensure that large, clear No Smoking signs on white with red writing were erected in all No Smoking areas, to tighten the no smoking laws with tougher penalties, and when all this failed to stop the illegal smokers, to further ban tobacco all together, by sending out the information below the photos titled: “Impact smoke has on the environment and smokers, including non smoker’s health” with attached photos and registration numbers; especially when another group discovered that the tobacco companies were using animals to do inhumane research on by pumping tobacco smoke into them who then killed the vulnerable victim animals once they finished their violent research on them.

I have fallen victim on numerous occasions taking photos of illegal smokers in non smoking designated areas by violent smokers assaulting me, threatening my life, verbal abuse using offensive language, setting up crashes, obstructions as they unlawfully collude and unlawfully stalk, defamed with vicious lies, vicious harassment, etc, who also refused to put their cigarettes out once notified that they are smoking in a non smoking designated area and the fact that they aren’t only killing themselves, but are also killing vulnerable non smokers that also include babies and children. These illegal smokers also smoked in front of the Child Care Centre to ensure that their lethal toxic carcinogenic smoke was inhaled by all the vulnerable children visiting the Child Care Centre.

Our lobbying has slowly toughened the No Smoking laws by increasing the No Smoking designated areas.

It is no secret that Smoking kills – the crime committed is discharging a lethal weapon releasing toxic carcinogenic smoke that kills and premeditated homicide.

This male was illegally smoking in front of the no smoking sign, at first he smiles for the camera 28/11/09.

Then he assaults me with his walking stick 28/11/09.

The No Smoking sign repeatedly ignored by all smokers since the No Smoking Laws applied. Photo taken 28/11/09. This sign replaced the hyperdome’s faint blue writing and very small no smoking signs that disappeared into the background after I began lobbying for larger clearer permanently fixed signage.

21/12/09 the Day Care Centre is just to your left of this illegal male smoker.

23/12/09 These illegal male smokers sit right at the entrance so that all the smoke also escapes inside the hyperdome. The no smoking sign can be seen on the door, one at all of the boom gates as you enter all the car parks, and one on the protruding wall next to where the boys are sitting with only being visible side on in the picture.

10/2/10 This illegal smoking woman is walking straight towards the child care centre that can be seen with the green picture on the wall who started off in front of the No Smoking sign by the glassed entrance into the hyperdome spreading her toxic carcinogenic smoke all through the car park.

Over the years the signs changed inside the hyperdome carpark as I stepped up lobbying the government.

10/2/10 This illegal smoker repeatedly unlawfully assaulted me knocking my mobile out of my hand and tried to hide her cigarette who is being instructed on what to do on her mobile phone as she infects the carpark with toxic carcinogenic tobacco smoke being inhaled by non smokers. She is instructed not to extinguish her cigarette, so she doesn’t.

27/4/10 an illegal male smoker deliberately approaches me with his cigarette.

27/4/10 his female friend moves in and my life is threatened and I am unlawfully stalked

27/4/10 I continued to take photos as this female friend with a tongue stud of the illegal smoker continues to unlawfully stalk me.

30/4/10 this illegal male smoker spreads his toxic carcinogenic smoke throughout the NO SMOKING hyperdome carpark and then further unlawfully litters the car park.

He left the unlawfully littering cigarette burning in the car park.

30/4/10 and this is the illegal male smoker’s car

16/1/ 2010 These 2 males continued to illegally smoke next to the glassed in entrance to the hyperdome filling the hyperdome with their toxic carcinogenic smoke. The male to your right with the baseball cap then further unlawfully assaulted me with his lit cigarette and flicked it at me, that was left burning.

16/1/10 The burning cigarette bounced off me and landed between my feet, I stepped back and took another photo.

16/1/ 2010 2 female staff members illegally smoking right next to the Child Care Centre that is to your right.

16/1/ 2010 same day the 2 female staff members are then joined by 2 males to add to the toxic carcinogenic smoke, 4 people illegally smoking in a no smoking area next to the Child Care Centre that is consumed by all non smokers.

23/1/ 2010 more illegal smokers hiding themselves knowing that they are killing their non smoking victims and that it is illegal to smoke in the underground carpark.

15/4/10 sitting down by the glassed in entrance to the shopping mall illegally smoking allowing their toxic carcinogenic smoke to enter inside the mall as well.

While I was the victim of ongoing unlawful threats, death threats, verbal offensive abuse, crashes set up, obstructions set up and unlawful stalking by these illegal smokers that continued throughout 2010, 2011, and 2012, I have skipped through the rest of 2010, 2011 and 2012 and have gone straight to the more recent criminal incident that occurred on 2/1/13 at the DFO non-smoking car park.

2/1/13 illegal smoker standing by the glassed in entrance to the DFO, right next to the no smoking sign that is on the glass next to the sliding door with 2 females the blonde pictured and a dark haired female who weren’t smoking who have confronted me before with their toxic carcinogenic tobacco smoke. The male refused to put his cigarette out after being educated into the harm it causes and that he is killing all the non smokers etc who furthermore deliberately further assaulted me by blowing his toxic carcinogenic smoke straight into my face. The 2 females with this illegal smoker are aiding and abetting premeditated homicide of non smokers.

Impact smoke has on the environment and smokers, including non smoker’s health.

The hyperdome centre managment, along with all other non smoking venues, and the government have a duty of care to all non smokers that also includes vulnerable children and babies, by displaying large, clear, that are permanent fixtures, no smoking signs outside the building at all the entrances to the hyperdome, and other non smoking venues, and on every pillar, also including a hefty penalty, along with security’s phone number, when non smokers lives are threatened by your violent smokers who have no regard for the no smoking laws, and the non smokers lives.

It is not a matter of IF the smokers are going to kill the non smokers, it is a matter of WHEN the smokers are going to kill the non smokers.

Legally, this term is known as premeditated homicide.

Irresponsible cigarette smokers that flick their live cigarettes into the environment, are the cause of the majority of fires. Smokers are costing taxpayers trillions of dollars in the fire emergency scheme, with the fire brigade having to run around putting out extra fires.

Cigarette smoking is a drug addiction, that is also forced on the innocent non smoking victims, which includes vulnerable babies and children.

Every time a smoker lights up a cigarette, they release toxic, some known carcinogens into the atmosphere, that is dangerous to the passive smokers.

Smokers are costing taxpayers trillions of dollars in the health scheme, and are forcing extra pressure on hospital beds by slowly killing passive smokers with the same smoke related diseases.

Smokers are contributing to and accelerating climate change. By Immediately Banning tobacco, you are saving the environment, and you are saving lives.

Radioactive cigarette smoke- lead-210 (Pb-210) and polonium-210 (Po-210) are poisonous, radioactive heavy metals that research has shown to be present in cigarette/tobacco smoke.

Lead-210 and Polonium-210 come from uranium, an ore that occurs in small amounts in nature, breaks down, that releases radium as radon gas into the atmosphere. Once that occurs, radon gas decays quickly, producing lead-210 (PB-210) and polonium-210 (Po-210), highly radioactive metals known as radon decay products. Radium is also present in phosphate fertilisers that are often used in tobacco farming.

As the radium in soil around tobacco plants releases radon gas, and ultimately the tiny lead and polonium particles float free, they attach to bits of dust and are carried to the surface of tobacco leaves. Because tobacco leaves are covered with thousands of fine hairs, these radioactive chemicals grab hold and remain, that is then inhaled by the smokers and passive smokers, that enters their lungs, causing lung cancer, a decline in health, organ removal, prolonged suffering, unable to breathe, oxygen won’t help you either, because your whole immune system has shut down, your nose is running, bleeding, clotting, it feels blocked, you can’t breathe, you can’t eat, you slowly suffocate to death, releasing the toxic emissions into the atmosphere, and contributing to climate change.

Lead-210 and polonium-210 are insoluble in water, so they are not removed during the cleaning and cigarette manufacturing process.

This is only scratching the surface in the diseases that smoking causes.

Chemicals in cigarettes and cigarette smoke contain poisons, carcinogens and heavy toxic metals.

Cigarettes contain ammonia, (great to clean your toilet with, but not great for your immune system) acetone, (great to remove your nail polish, but not great for your vital organs), hydrogen cyanide, arsenic (great to kill your unwanted rats and mice, however, smokers are also killing themselves and innocent non smokers through passive smoking.)

Carcinogens in cigarettes – a carcinogen is defined as any substance that can cause or aggravate cancer. Approximately 60 of the chemicals in cigarettes are known to cause cancer.

TSNAs – tobacco-specific N-nitrosamines, are known to be some of the most potent carcinogens present in smokeless tobacco, snuff and tobacco smoke.

Benzene can be found in pesticides and gasoline. It is present in high levels in cigarette smoke and accounts for half of all human exposure to this hazardous chemical.

Pesticides are used on lawns and gardens, and inhaled into our lungs via cigarette smoke.

Formaldehyde is a chemical used to preserve dead bodies, and is responsible for some of the nose, throat and eye irritation smokers experience when breathing in cigarette smoke.

Toxic Metals in cigarettes – toxic/heavy metals are metals and metal compounds that have the potential to harm our health when absorbed or inhaled. In very small amounts, some of these metals support life, but when taken in large amounts, can become toxic.

Arsenic is commonly used in rat poison, arsenic finds its way into cigarette smoke through some of the pesticides that are used in tobacco farming.

Cadmium is a toxic heavy metal that is used in batteries.

Poisons in cigarettes – poison is defined as any substance that, when introduced to a living organism, causes severe physical distress or death. Science has discovered approximately 200 poisonous gases in cigarette smoke.

Ammonia compounds are commonly used in cleaning products and fertilisers. Ammonia is also used to boost the impact of nicotine in manufactured cigarettes.

Carbon Monoxide is present in car exhaust and is lethal in very large amounts. Cigarette smoke can contain high levels of carbon monoxide.

Hydrogen cyanide was used to kill people in the gas chambers in Nazi germany during world war 2. It can be found in cigarette smoke.

Nicotine is a poison used in pesticides and is the addictive element in cigarettes.

Passive smoking/environmental tobacco smoke – smoke produced by a smouldering cigarette is known to contain at least 250 toxic chemicals, including 50 cancer-causing chemicals. The smell of cigarette smoke is harming your health, and the environment.

Health diseases from cigarette/tobacco smoke – heart, emphysema, lung cancer, mouth cancer, kidney cancer, cervix cancer and bone marrow, gangrene, blood pressure, cataracts, contributes to the development of osteoporosis, increasing the risk for fracture in the elderly, abdominal aortic aneurysm, acute myeloid leukaemia, pancreatic cancer, pneumonia, periodontitis and stomach cancer. These are in addition to diseases previously known to be caused by smoking, including bladder,esophageal, laryngeal,lung, oral, and throat cancers, chronic lung diseases, coronary heart and cardiovascular diseases, as well as reproductive effects and sudden infant death syndrome.

During 1995-1999, smoking caused approximately 440,000 premature deaths in the US annually, leading to 13.2 years of potential life lost for male smokers, and 14.5 years lost for female smokers.

Tobacco is responsible for contributing to harmful carbon emissions and accelerating climate change.

“CRUEL ANIMAL TESTING BY TOBACCO COMPANIES.

Most people are fully aware that smoking cigarettes is dangerous to one’s health. With the ever-present Surgeon General Warnings printed on every single tobacco product on the market, you would be hard pressed to have missed it.

It doesn’t necessarily take a doctor or scientist though to realize that breathing in carcinogens on a daily basis is a potentially lethal habit. Common sense tells us that breathing smoke of any kind is bad for our lungs, yet for tens of thousands of dogs in research laboratories around the world — who are forced to ingest cigarette smoke for upwards of ten hours a day — this apparently obvious fact is ignored.

In the tobacco industry’s vain attempt to prove that their product doesn’t actually kill people, they have invested literally millions of dollars into animal testing facilities of their own.

Despite the fact all scientific evidence points to the same conclusion — using cigarettes and other tobacco products leads to cancers, emphysema, birth defects and a host of other physical ailments in humans — tobacco companies and research laboratories continue on with what appears to be not only a complete disregard of scientific findings, but a lack of concern for the lives of other beings.

Inside laboratories built by the tobacco industry, or in contract laboratories, beagle puppies are attached to gas mask-like devices and forced to breath in cigarette smoke for hours on end. After enduring months, if not years, of this torture, the poor, helpless dogs are killed so their lungs and other organs can be examined to study the impact the smoke had on them.

Since all conclusive evidence points to the fact that smoking is harmful for human beings, what could the possible motivation be for torturing and killing non-human animals, such as these dogs? And this horrific treatment is not limited to dogs. Pregnant Rhesus monkeys in these laboratories are forced to breathe in cigarette smoke during the duration of their pregnancy and, shortly before giving birth, the mother and her unborn child will be killed so her body may be dissected and her baby removed to observe the side effects of smoking on pregnancy and fetal development.

The same is true for a host of other species such as mice and rats.

It is hard for me to fathom the consciousness of a person who attaches a gas mask to a puppy’s or pregnant monkey’s face each day. What must go through their minds to enable them to justify such injustice? Unlike other forms of vivisection where a lab technician can delude themselves into believing that sacrificing another species benefits the greater good, those working inside tobacco research laboratories must be all too aware that their “research” will benefit no one other than the tobacco industry’s pockets. ”

don fletcher from tams says that kangaroos are not the main problem and in fact ‘native grasses’ are not threatened with extinction, but other animals and plants are, and that “the biggest ‘contributor’ to the loss of the natural treeless grasslands of our region has been agriculture (by far)”.

This statement is admitting to the flawed, dishonest kangaroo management plan, and russell watkinson’s media release, on Friday 18/6/10, that blames the kangaroos for driving legless lizards, earless dragons, etc, and the deteriorating grasslands and woodlands to extinction, by eating all the grasses, when fletcher admits that the native grasses are not threatened by the kangaroos, but by human activity, including toxic sprays.

SEE the so called controlled government butchering, you will note that the kangaroos are still alive when hung up, suffering, AND BEING TORTURED TO DEATH, the male is laughing at the cruelty he has just inflicted on this kangaroo, a joey stomped to death, even the child stomps on it as he walks past following his father, orphaned joeys hopping around, left to starve to death, a joey bashed till its eyes popped out, but is still alive, suffering, a prolonged death, and the male admitting that these are protected species. Native protected animals called pests, the very same native animals that maintain a healthy well balanced eco system. The code of practice that the shooter refers to is inhumane, and unacceptable, as witnessed in this video footage. Kangaroos are not fit for human or dog consumption, heavily contaminated with various diseases/harmful bacterias, e.coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, toxoplasmosis, preserved illegally with sulphur dioxide that causes thiamine deficiency, (a white crystalline solid forming part of the vitamin B complex, C12H17CIN4OS; a vitamin (B1), required by the nervous system, absence of which causes beri-beri and other disorders),causing death, intake of pesticide spraying to control locusts, etc. Keep watching till it stops, keep an eye on the timer, next to the speaker symbol, length 10:59.

These animals are still alive and awake, when going through the abattoir’s chute processing system, dropped on top of one another, through a swinging door, to go through to the next phase, with several possums piled on top of one another, into the same boxes, when delivered to the abattoir, (possums are extremely territorial,) females with joeys, butchered, and bashed to death. RSPCA ANIMAL CRUELTY FAILURE TO SEIZE DOG 19/8/12-22/12/12

Dog offenders such as this one form organised crime together, who unlawfully collude, unlawfully stalk, set up crashes, set up obstructions, unlawfully assault you, attempt to commit homicide, commit homicide when assaulting pregnant women who lose their baby, attempt to run you down in their trucks, etc unlawfully trespass onto your property and steal your dogs if you have any dogs, try to drown your cats in their sump oil, if you have any cats, cause thousands of dollars worth of property damage to your property, defame with vicious lies, vicious harassment, continue to intimidate, harass and threaten, verbal abuse using offensive language, death threats, etc as we place the animals welfare first.

This long term dog offender has been a dog offender for over 30 years with each dog he has ever owned, committing acts of animal cruelty to each dog he has ever owned.

Wildlife have disappeared from my backyard from inside their aviaries, a blue tongue lizard severed etc. Animal cruelty does not stop with their own dogs.

Wildlife Carers Group has contacted both the rspca and das (domestic animal services – dog pound) to seize the kelpie dog in Kambah, and requested that they work together to seize the dog.

The rspca came out and saw the dog, and agreed with Wildlife Carers Group that the dog was underweight, saw that the dog was inhumanely kept on the back of the truck, uncontrolled, allowed to roam, parked dangerously on the road, and yet still refused to seize the dog that is shown in the photo below dated 21/5/12. The dog did not remain on the back of the truck.

The owner went away and left the dog there, which is why the rspca could not speak with him, and yet all they did was leave a note on his door, and leave the dog there so that he can continue to commit acts of animal cruelty.

The dog from Kambah was inhumanely kept on the back of the truck, uncontrolled, allowed to roam, parked dangerously on the road, and yet the rspca and das still refused to seize the dog that is shown in the photo dated 21/5/12.

DAS was also requested to come out and seize the dog, but refused to.

As you are all aware, the ongoing reports of animal cruelty and the uncontrolled dog went ignored, and as the email dated 13 August 2012, below for your information showed, the male reoffending dog offender was allowed to register a 2nd dog to abuse and to use as a harassing dog, cause an animal nuisance, with double the trouble using and abusing 2 dogs in the photo below dated 13/8/12.

The Photo dated 21/4/12, shows the roaming dog defecating on private/public land, other photos that can be seen below were sent that were clearer so that DAS could identify the dog, when the owner went away for 3 days, kicked the dog out into the street and left the dog to fend for itself.

This photo taken 21/4/12 shows that the dog does not stay in the truck or on the front porch, or in the front yard and that the dog does eventually wonder around and defecates and urinates on private and public land as shown in this photo with the dog defecating on private property.

While the rspca abuse your taxpayers money from their government funding and your donations to them to falsely defame people like myself, harass us, and seize properly cared for wildlife in my care, that we protect from the rspca and the government, and their government department TAMS, who try to shut down groups like myself who genuinely protect wildlife and domestic animals, both wildlife and domestic animals suffer in the hands of the rspca, who refuse to seize dog cruelty cases such as this one, but will seize properly cared for wildlife from people like me, the violent unlawful killing will never stop, the unlawfull killing by the rspca will never stop, and animals and wildlife will never be given the chance to their right to live.

This reoffending dog offender is well known to the rspca as committing acts of animal cruelty when he owned Great Danes, and other pig hunting dogs used to hunt pigs to torture the pigs to death and some of his dogs were also tortured to death by the pigs while he stood there taking photos of these violent acts of animal cruelty. For the dogs that got badly inujured, he sewed up himself without the use of anaesthetic, using non sterile needles and unsuitable cotton, causing serious infections in the dogs that caused a prolonged suffering death to the dogs, refusing to take them to the vet.

Animals have to be given to suitable homes for FREE to prevent unlawful killing of healthy animals. The everyday unnecessary killing of animals and wildlife is animal cruelty.

If the rspca cannot make money out of the animal, they will face a death sentence under the rspca.

Not only do the rspca know absolutely nothing about wildlife, they know absolutely nothing about domestic animals, or understand them and their rights to their space, to know when to back off and leave them alone.

If you want to help save animals and help save and protect our protected wildlife, boycott the rspca.

Your money, your free advertising for them, will only be abused and used to falsely slander the names, such as mine, who provide proper care and treatment to wildlife, who respond to animal cruelty complaints, with no government funding, who dip into our pockets to end animal cruelty, and to enforce the wildlife protection laws.

We have had a very full on 2012.

Our Wildlife mobile phone has been ringing off the hook all year with the phone getting quite congested.

Any calls we haven’t returned is because either the caller failed to leave a phone number, failed to leave a clear message and phone number and we could not decipher any of it, or because of the badly congested line, the calls did not get through, so we apologise for any calls that were not returned.

Please ensure that you speak loudly and clearly straight into the phone’s microphone and state the reason for why you are calling, leave your name and repeat your phone number twice.

If you only leave a name and number, we will consider that the call is not for sick, orphaned or injured wildlife or wildlife related matters.

Animal Cruelty has been high.

Wildlife Carers Group is currently investigating this young Galah that was brought to us on 18/12/12 picked up in Duffy, and is currently having a synthetic beak placed over the badly bitten or sliced off beak that also has part of its tongue missing. We are not sure if this injury is as a result of an insane person trying to shut this young Galah up when begging for food. If anyone has any information on what happened to this Galah, please email wildlife_carers_group@yahoo.com.au

This Galah has also been treated with enrofloxacin antibiotics injections. We have ruled out a vehicle strike as causing this injury.

Wildlife Carers Group took legal action against The Conservator of Flora and Fauna and filed an Application to Stay/Application For Interim Or Other Orders-General and an Application for Review of Decision at ACAT, to stop the Kangaroo killing on the nature reserves and surrounding areas on the date that the cull commenced on 22/5/12, since we only got 1 day’s notice that the unlawful killing was to commence, animal welfare/acts of animal cruelty, and to amend the Acts and Policies governing all the killing of Kangaroos and other native wildlife and the native wildlife rehabilitation rehabilitation.

The Stay was heard on 23/5/12, which failed.

I continued to argue to enforce the stay by sending ACAT daily updates of current visual photographic evidence from the 2012 killing to show that the Kangaroos were being violently tortured to death, unlawfully herded using quad bikes by the government and their employed shooters that the taxpayers were paying for. ACAT would not budge.

This dragged on until the hearing that was set down for 27 June 2012 when we requested an adjournment since the Conservator of Flora and Fauna deliberately withheld evidence in an attachment of her Decision. ACAT refused to grant our adjournment and refused to order the Conservator of Flora and Fauna to send the missing attachment of her Decision.

ACAT breached the Animal Welfare Act and the Code of Practice by failing to grant the stay, and allowed this government to continue to breach the Animal Welfare Act and the Code of Practice in the process. Someone has to be held accountable for all of these serious breaches and also lose their taxpayer waged jobs.

We are attempting to have court/tribunal rules changed so that courts/tribunals will be held accountable for their incorrect decisions. These courts/tribunals are paid with taxpayers money, and no one wants to see animals tortured to death, especially when the matter is already before the court/tribunal, or victims/innocent people viciously harassed and defamed and/or prosecuted and treated as criminals, and ordered to pay criminals to allow them to reoffend.

The government is also in breach of the Animal Welfare Act and the Code of Practice and will also be held accountable for their ongoing non action to stop the Kangaroo slaughters and to prevent them from being driven to extinction unless they immediately announce that the kangaroo killing is stopped by the government and other parties who kill protected native kangaroos and other protected native wildlife.

On 27 June 2012 we were forced to withdraw our application for Review of Decision because of the missing evidence in the Decision.

This leaves this matter open and can still be challenged by us or someone else who we will be happy to work closely with to ensure that our Kangaroos and all other native wildlife see Justice and their Rights to live under the Wildlife Protection Laws.

The police were constantly contacted by us as well to stop the Kangaroo killing by sending them the same visual photographic evidence that we sent to the court on a daily basis, but it appears that the police failed in their duty to immediately stop animal cruelty.

We received conflicting stories, that the killing was stopped on the Friday prior to the advertised date of reopening the nature reserves.

So we possibly had some effect with the court action and our constant contact with all of the police sections within the police departments.

Then on 10 August 2012, I was personally attacked not only by TAMS, but ALSO by the police and the rspca, with my private property unlawfully trespassed on and my wildlife stolen by these bodies, with not one of them placing innocent vulnerable protected native wildlife welfare first, all because I personally took the conservator of flora and fauna to court.

My repeated warnings to them that they were trespassing and that this was private property and to get off my property was ignored. I stepped infront of the rspca and again ordered everyone off my property, and shut the aviary door to the 4 Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, where they started to torture the Cockatoos, blood everywhere, when a large flock of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos also tried to come to our rescue and came flying in screaming and swooping down at the rspca, tams and the police.

A police officer stepped infront of my face and threatened to arrest me and charge me on my own private property, who was unlawfully trespassing.

The Chronicle has given the rspca a full page of advertising to adopt a pet , and don’t be deceived by their wording, in plain English it means the rspca are selling them that includes 2 Rainbow Lorikeets. Who were these birds stolen from? Where is the xmas present for these animals, to be given to good suitable loving and caring homes for FREE to ensure that none of the rspca animals are killed unnecessarily?!

Advertising for the rspca is not helping any animals, until the rspca advertises that all the animals are FREE to good homes to prevent killing them. That is the Merry Xmas all year round that all animals deserve at the rspca, FREE to good homes.

Taxpayers money was used and abused to run a smear campaign against me by the government, government depts/police and tams, and the rspca, just as the government ran a smear campaign against the protestors/activists who were gathering the evidence on the unlawful violent killing of the kangaroos on the nature reserves in May/June 2012, by accusing them of cutting the fence where the Eastern Bettongs were.

At no time were the Eastern Bettongs in danger. The fence surrounding the Eastern Bettongs was never cut, the government were careful to cut another fence that was right away from the Eastern Bettongs. The activists did not cut the fence; the government did so that they could turn the public against the activists who did an excellent job in gathering animal cruelty evidence and exposing the government’s unlawful violent herding and killing of the Kangaroos in 2012. The vet verified that the kangaroos were indeed tortured to death, that is in breach of the Animal Welfare Act, Code of Practice etc, after one of the kangaroos were autopsied.

My name was slandered with vicious defamatory lies in the Canberra Times, with the intent to destroy my reputation, we can put any price on a defamation law suit, with the Canberra Times refusing to print my response, and other letters written in my defence, this is also discrimination and in breach of my Human Rights, I was personally viciously harassed that is a $350,000 fine and 7 years in prison, my property damaged that I have been constantly writing to the chief/tams minister to pay up for, and to pay me a huge compensation payout without the government abusing any further taxpayers money on, giving her the opportunity to negotiate with me alone.

I have already sent 1 bill for damages to the chief/tams minister that has been constantly ignored. I have also demanded a PUBLIC APOLOGY from all of these bodies.

After all of this, the public who care and who know me still know where to come to save our protected native wildlife and we continue to receive massive complaints against the rspca killing everything.

This poor Long-necked Tortoise was found lying upside down on the road on 14/12/12 and handed into Wildlife Carers Group, showing a fracture on the tortoise’s plastron.

Taken to the vet and treated with enrofloxacin 0.2ml antibiotics injection and the fracture taped with half inch micropore tape.

ELECTRIC CAR

In order to help save our environment, I had an electric car for a month. I can’t say that I can recommend it. When we had to be at certain places at a certain time, the electric car ran out of charge, so we had to switch cars and take the petrol car. It takes hours to charge the car up, hours that we don’t have, so to be safe, I had to drive my petrol car knowing that it is full of petrol, it only takes 5 minutes to fill it up, and it will get me wherever I have to go without the worry that the charge will run out and I will be left stranded in the middle of nowhere.

ANTARTICA VISIT – MELBOURNE AQUARIUM

We visited Antartica to see their King and Gentoo Penguins in the Melbourne Aquarium on 22/11/12.

Unfortunately the King and Gentoo Penguins are kept in the same enclosure that may be having an impact on the King Penguins breeding, unless they are all females, and their survival in the enclosure. All the King Penguins eggs that are laid are not fertile.

King Penguins congregate together in the wild. They don’t normally mix with other Penguins, so this could be a stress factor for them.

The Melbourne Aquarium suffers a high mortality rate of the King Penguins as well.

The Gentoo Penguins are breeding quite well, so obviously being held captive together with the King Penguins is not stressful for them.

Note that they ignore the problems that they have to resolve, rather than addressing them, the respondent is in complete denial that there is a problem with their high mortality rate of the King Penguins in their enclosure and the fact they are not breeding, since they have more readily accessible King Penguins to quickly replace their high mortality rate:

Thank you for your response.

I didn’t write that we did not enjoy your Sub-Antartica Penguin experience, if you would like to re-read what I wrote.

I did however express concerns for the King Penguins.


The penguin facility meets all Australian and international standards


The RSPCA Victoria have visited the penguin facility on three occasions upon our request and were more than satisfied with the standard of the facility and the husbandry provided.


Penguin specialists from the Australian Antarctic Division have visited on several occasions and endorsed the facility.

I’m aware that you are having a success breeding rate with the Gentoo Penguins, my only concern was with your failure to breed with the King Penguins and that you have to keep replacing the high death rate with new King Penguins.

As mentioned in my last email we have had NO king deaths at Melbourne Aquarium.

The King Penguins have not bred due to their young age.

Hopefully you will take note of the concerns raised, and rehouse the King Penguins into a separate facility.

King Penguins do not interact with Gentoo Penguins in the wild, even in your enclosure, they attempt to remain separate from the Gentoo Penguins which is quite stressful for them.

The king penguins have currently separating them self as they are using the nest platform provided for courting and breeding. Other times of the year that use all areas of the exhibit as the gentoo’s do.

King and gentoo penguins may not interact with each other however they live in integrated population on Falkland Island, Macquarie Island, South Georgia, Prince Edward, Crozet and Heard island.

I didn’t write that we did not enjoy your Sub-Antartica Penguin experience, if you would like to re-read what I wrote.

I did however express concerns for the King Penguins.

Hopefully you will take note of the concerns raised, and rehouse the King Penguins into a separate facility.

King Penguins do not interact with Gentoo Penguins in the wild, even in your enclosure, they attempt to remain separate from the Gentoo Penguins which is quite stressful for them.

Let me know if your King egg is fertile or successfully raised.

I would love to receive stages through photos from you of this King egg’s stages, hatching etc if it is fertile.

Thank you for your email. I am sorry you did not enjoy your Sub-Antarctic Penguin experience at Melbourne Aquarium.

Unfortunately the information that you received upon your visit to the Aquarium is incorrect. In the four years that we have displayed penguins at Melbourne Aquarium we have had no adult deaths and had a very successful gentoo breeding program in place with chicks the past three years. Kings take several years longer then gentoos to reach sexual maturity. Therefore, last years’ egg was infertile due to the young age of the birds. We are very excited to currently have one king egg, laid last week. When you visited it was very early in the king breeding season, which, unlike the gentoos that all breed at the same time, have a very long breeding season. They had begun courting and finding a mate. We are very lucky to have an egg this early in the breeding season.

Pip (king penguin) has a feeding issue from birth and therefore needs the food to be put into her mouth to a certain depth before she eats it. She indicates to keepers when she is hungry and then she is fed. At present several of the other kings are focused on the present breeding season, this means that they will often protect their partner so intently that they lose their interest in other things. For this reason we spend more time with the kings ensuring that they get the nutrition they need to keep healthy.

Sub- Antarctic penguins shake for several reasons, 1 to cool down, 2 to warm up, 3 to assist in digestion or 4 they may be unwell, if they are unwell they show other signs first though and they would have received medical assistance before they got to the stage of shaking. We have staff trained in vet nursing and keepers that have a wide range of varied experience, from breeding endangered birds, years of zoo keeping a wide range of birds, mammals, reptile and fish, and years of animal conditioning plus extensive study at both the under and post graduate level. We also have a Vet with 30+ years experience visit 3 time as week and is always on call.

King and gentoo penguins live side by side both in the wild, in numbers exceeding tens of thousands, and Zoo’s and Aquarium’s all around the world.

Last week we visited the Antartica King and Gentoo Penguins enclosure and learnt that your King Penguins are not breeding, laying infertile eggs, and that you have a high death rate.

These could be as a result of a couple of things:

1. Either all the King Penguins are females; or

2. It is a very stressful environment for them being held captive together with the Gentoo Penguins, and your staff who feed them etc are not trained to understand animal behaviour on when to leave the penguins alone, or when they may need medical assistance.

Before we actually went in to the Antartica section to be inside with the penguins, we noticed that a female handler with glasses, was pushing and forcing the King Penguins to feed, when some of the Penguins quite obviously just wanted to be left alone.

She repeatedly tried to force feed a couple of them, failing to read their body language that they wanted to be left alone.

One of the King Penguins was trembling quite badly as well that clearly needed some medical attention, or was in fear of the handlers/staff.

It may be worthwhile for you to construct another Antartica area solely for the King Penguins and see if that helps breeding and stops your high death rate.

Note that even the photo shows that the King Penguins attempt to alienate themselves from the Gentoo Penguins and do not intermix.

We were taken into a highly quarantined area and had to put their warm black outfits on, including heavy duty black boots, and I mean ‘heavy’. Our feet felt like lead in them they were that heavy.

We were given a guided tour throughout the quarantined area, shown the freezers, where all the food is stored, how the food is mixed and coloured using a colour dye to make the food more appealing for the Penguins, an empty King Penguin egg, equipment, etc and finally the best saved for last, into the quarantined enclosure to meet the King and Gentoo Penguins face to face. We were on display with the Penguins.

Seeing the King Penguins face to face showed how absolutely beautifully and brilliantly coloured they are that you simply can’t see through the glassed enclosure. They are breathtaking.

There were animal welfare issues in the Octopus enclosure where a number of large Octopus’s was squeezed into a tiny glassed in area.

ONGOING RSPCA CRUELTY

28/11/12 dog from Kambah in truck yue 022 entangled in chains on the back of his truck all day parked illegally.

12/12/12 at approx 2.24pm showing a photo of uncontrolled dog ALLOWED TO ROAM from Kambah, with the dog having a chain attached to it, but the other end of the chain is not attached to anything so that when the dog roams it will be dragging a very long chain after it that is more acts of animal cruelty.

6/12/12 the black dog from 15 Drysdale Cct Kambah was on the road outside 13 Drysdale Cct Kambah. By the time I took the photo, the dog had moved behind the permanent offending dog owner’s truck yes 67c that is also permanently unlawfully parked on the nature strip. A part of the rear of the dog can be seen behind the truck.

20/12/12 at approx 1.11am showing a dark photo of uncontrolled dog that is allowed to roam, the light from the eye can be seen, showing more acts of animal cruelty, failing to properly house the dog and keep the dog safe from predators that is kept in an open front yard, residing at Kambah, kicked out into the street every day causing a public nuisance, a harassing dog and a disturbance.

The uncontrolled and roaming dogs are causing a lot of damage to private property killing off the lawns as they urinate all over them on a daily basis, along with other damages.

Animal cruelty extends to dog owners who fail to keep their dogs under control by keeping them on a leash, or the dog offenders who kick their dogs out into the neighbourhood to roam, who fail to place top priority on their pets safety, who clearly don’t care if their dogs get run down, they don’t care if their dogs attack someone, or if they attack, injure or kill another persons pet, or wildlife, or if their own dogs get attacked or killed.

All uncontrolled dogs are unpredictable, and are a danger to people, other animals, wildlife and to themselves.

It only takes a split second for a dog to attack a person, another animal, wildlife.

Some facts below about Australian horse racing –

• Almost 40% of racehorses leave the industry each year due to poor performance, illness or injury, or behavioural or other problems. Most of this ‘wastage’ (to use the industry’s term for young and poor performing horses), is sent to horse abattoirs around Australia and slaughtered for human consumption or pet food.

• Serious animal welfare issues associated with the industry include using drugs to modify horse behaviour; walking horses continuously for 10-12 hours to prevent them ‘misbehaving’; and using severe aggression and even flogging to assert the riders’ dominance over horses.

• The industry still accepts‘whipping’ horses as ‘normal’ behaviour; whereas openly and repeatedly thrashing other companion animals such as dogs would be in breach of animal protection laws around Australia.

• The British Horseracing Authority has recently introduced new measures to reduce excessive whipping by jockeys. While Australia had the chance to lead the world on horse-welfare issues when similar rules were introduced in 2009, the rules barely lasted a month before being dumped.

don fletcher from tams says that kangaroos are not the main problem and in fact ‘native grasses’ are not threatened with extinction, but other animals and plants are, and that “the biggest ‘contributor’ to the loss of the natural treeless grasslands of our region has been agriculture (by far)”.

This statement is admitting to the flawed, dishonest kangaroo management plan, and russell watkinson’s media release, on Friday 18/6/10, that blames the kangaroos for driving legless lizards, earless dragons, etc, and the deteriorating grasslands and woodlands to extinction, by eating all the grasses, when fletcher admits that the native grasses are not threatened by the kangaroos, but by human activity, including toxic sprays.

‘KANGAROO CHILLER BOX INVESTIGATION’/’KANGAROOS ON TRACK TO EXTINCTION’, that contains the cruel bashing to death of roos that are shot, but not directly killed, hung up while still alive, and left suffering, trembling as they hang, tortured to death, and joeys bashed to death, possibly attempting to decapitate the joeys head on the back of the truck with several blows.

SEE the so called controlled government butchering, you will note that the kangaroos are still alive when hung up, suffering, AND BEING TORTURED TO DEATH, the male is laughing at the cruelty he has just inflicted on this kangaroo, a joey stomped to death, even the child stomps on it as he walks past following his father, orphaned joeys hopping around, left to starve to death, a joey bashed till its eyes popped out, but is still alive, suffering, a prolonged death, and the male admitting that these are protected species. Native protected animals called pests, the very same native animals that maintain a healthy well balanced eco system. The code of practice that the shooter refers to is inhumane, and unacceptable, as witnessed in this video footage. Kangaroos are not fit for human or dog consumption, heavily contaminated with various diseases/harmful bacterias, e.coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, toxoplasmosis, preserved illegally with sulphur dioxide that causes thiamine deficiency, (a white crystalline solid forming part of the vitamin B complex, C12H17CIN4OS; a vitamin (B1), required by the nervous system, absence of which causes beri-beri and other disorders), causing death, intake of pesticide spraying to control locusts, etc. Keep watching till it stops, keep an eye on the timer, next to the speaker symbol, length 10:59.

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENT

Day 1: The student was given notes on First Aid/Some Basic Hints on Wildlife Rescue/Care: http://wcg.awardspace.com (this website is not updated), click on the ‘animal care’ link. We covered animal welfare by visiting DAS (the dog pound-Domestic Animal Services), and then the rspca. At lunch time while eating our lunch we discussed more animal welfare concerns and animal cruelty that was shown in the documentary ‘The Earthlings’, showing how ‘kosher’ cows are tortured to death, and Indian cattle that are sacred in India, and therefore are not allowed to be killed are forced onto a long agonising journey to where they can be killed, however, the journey is so long that some of the cattle drop to their death before reaching their destination or drop from exhaustion and therefore have their eyes pepper sprayed, have their tails broken to force them back up to continue their long agonising journey, and those that survive the long agonising journey are then tortured even more before they die, all for the sake of cheap leather. Live animals are skinned alive all for the sake of the fur trade. The student watched the video on Day 1, and discussed ‘Earthlings’ on Day 2 with me, that she said made her cry. DAS have finally removed the bucket they kept in one of the afterhours pen’s for years, that small dogs could not reach to drink out of, and screwed in a metal bowl in both after hours pens, although they were both empty and dirty, with no water in them.

As the photos show, both pens were dirty stained with urine etc with the red gadget in the water bowl in this photo that could be deadly for a dog that could choke on it, left there for who knows how long and slowly die an agonising death.

In this photo, the red gadget is missing from the water bowl, more than likely chewed by a dog that may have choked on it and suffered a prolonged agonising death.

The padlocks have been returned to both gates, however we had a lot of trouble trying to close this gate, and the padlock cannot be used to lock the afterhour’s pen’s gate because of being incorrectly aligned. This gate has been incorrectly aligned for quite a number of years. It is important to be able to lock these gates after a dog has been placed in them to prevent another dog from being placed into the same pen, to prevent a dog fight, serious injuries and death, or to prevent someone from letting the dogs out to be run down by traffic etc. There should only be 1 dog placed in 1 pen. These padlocks are really useless, that anyone can cut with bolt cutters. They need more secure padlocks, and the afterhours pens need more insulation, and to be made more dog friendly with dog beds.

There was a lot of activity around in the dog pound with volunteers walking the dogs, but this poor dog, a lovely Rottweiler was left in a dirty pen.

The pen next to the pictured pen that had a German short-haired Pointer in it had urine all over the off floor bed and throughout the pen.

If you want a dog, or just want to save the German Short-haired Pointer (I didn’t get to take a photo of it) from being killed on Wednesday 3 October, then please rescue it, or just put some money down on it, and please do check on the pictured dog as well.

Unfortunately a female, who thought she was doing the right thing, got into the pen with German short-haired Pointer and was trying to convince us to buy the dog. She started off telling the dog to sit, giving the dog treats, however, the dog got sick of it and was more interested in us. The female simply did not know when to stop, to leave the dog alone and give the dog its space, and to get out of the pen.

Have you lost a German short-haired Pointer or the pictured dog, they are at the dog pound in Symonston, along with a lot of other small, medium dogs.

I didn’t take any photos of the rspca animals, however, a number of dogs had stiff frayed rags tied around their necks that would have been extremely uncomfortable for the dogs.

The rspca seem to forget that these are dogs and not people to be dressed up, the last thing these dogs need is stupid looking rags or anything else similar tied around their necks. They need to be left alone from this type of dressing up.

Each pen had dangerous squeaky toys that are filled with metal objects that make the noise in them, that will choke the dogs and cats and any other animal when ripped apart, slowly killing them.

Another volunteer at the rspca who locked herself into the pen with a dog, was also advised that the dog needs its space, and to watch the behaviour of the dog very closely that was also getting a bit agitated.

These dogs are out of their comfort zone in the rspca and TAMS DAS, in a very unfriendly, unfamiliar and stressful environment for them, locked up in pens. It is no place to lock yourself in with a dog and torment the dog. Even outside the pens, the environment is still unfriendly, unfamiliar and stressful, and the dogs are traumatised.

The rspca and DAS do have a green play area, so it is better for the dog to take the dog into the play area and spend some time with it out there, however, the dogs are still out of their comfort zone and in an unfamiliar environment, so watch the dogs behaviour, and know when to back off and give the dog some space.

The rspca had a rather expensive price for animals sign up outside the domestic animal section, as you walk towards the dog enclosures, to let you know how much the animals are. We saw a price tag of $400. At these types of prices the rspca are doing more inappropriate and unlawful killing of healthy animals rather than the selling of healthy animals.

The rspca will never learn to put the welfare of the animals first, and to give them away to suitable homes for FREE to prevent killing healthy animals.

The rspca wildlife are kept in containers, the possums are escaping through open windows. Possums are extremely territorial. To allow possums to escape means serious injuries and a slow and agonising death to the possums from their injuries in possum fights.

There were 2 yellow canaries not looking too well from being kept inside the suffocating containers.

We asked to see other wildlife and where they were kept, but of course they said ‘no’.

It appears that the rspca wildlife are kept inhumanely in these containers, and have been for 2-3 months before they unlawfully trespassed onto my private property and stole my wildlife on 10/8/12. I received no response to the email I sent to the rspca from their website, warning them that they are not permitted to kill or sell any of my wildlife and that they will have to return them to me. The only email I have received from the rspca is an email telling me that it has been sent to the appropriate person who will respond, with the appropriate person still failing to respond.

One story told is that the rspca building was infested and infected with something, and the other story is that the roof caved in, so the entire area is ribboned off, and you cannot get to any part of the building or surrounding areas.

Day 2: Notes handed to the student on Kangaroos and Diseases and an unsustainable Kangaroo Commercial industry, and Possum Rehabilitation given to her in advance to cover her for Day 3, since every Wednesday she is involved in another commitment. From the notes given to the student on Day 1, the student asked me whether or not she needs to have a rabies shot, to which I replied, only if she is going to be handling bats. We returned to the rspca to take photos. The photos show rspca animal cruelty.

The 2 yellow canaries were put outside this container on Day 2 of our visit, still all puffed up and unhealthy looking, however, this is another death trap for the 2 birds where they can, in a split second, be attacked and killed by magpies, currawongs or any other birds, through their cages.

On 10/8/12 the rspca unlawfully trespassed onto my property, stole my wildlife that were humanely kept in aviaries, after I ordered all of them off my private property, who refused to leave, with the rspca injuring my wildlife and making them sick while they mishandled and stole my wildlife, so that I had to scrub out the blood left behind in the aviaries caused by the rspca staff, just to take the vulnerable wildlife back to these suffocating tombs/death traps of containers for a miserable life, and had the cheek to slander my name with defamatory lies to the Canberra Times that the Canberra Times unwittingly printed, falsely accusing me of animal cruelty.

As you can see, backyard caring for wildlife is far more humane, especially by a long term expert such as myself, as opposed to taking any poor vulnerable dependent animal to the rspca.

I demand a public apology by this government, tams. the police, and the rspca for the unlawful trespassing and stealing of my wildlife, and the immediate return of my wildlife alive.

These pictures show animal cruelty. The only acts of animal cruelty committed to my wildlife were by the rspca, the ACT Government, their government department TAMS staff and the police who were involved, who I am also demanding a public apology from. The photos show that animal welfare and what was best for my wildlife was the last thing on the mind of the ACT Government, government department TAMS, the rspca and the police, and that neither of them care.

The police were contacted and requested to assist in raiding the rspca and seizing back Wildlife Carers Group wildlife, with a public apology, however, this has not eventuated. The ACT Government and TAMS were also contacted and requested to immediately seize back my wildlife and order them to be returned to me, with a public apology, this has not eventuated.

If you, and this includes the media, care about domestic animals and wildlife, you will want to avoid the rspca, and you won’t want to advertise for the rspca.

After taking these photos a blonde female came running out after me and asked me if I was dropping off wildlife to them. I said ‘no’.

Wildlife Carers Group will never give any wildlife to the rspca just so that they can unlawfully kill or sell them, mistreat them, mishandle and place them into unsuitable suffocating housing. We have our own experts to properly and humanely care for our wildlife, and quite obviously better housing facilities.

As the above photos show, Wildlife Carers Group is needed more than ever for our protected native wildlife, proper care and rehabilitation, proper education, proper protection to protect our wildlife under the wildlife protection laws that prevents the killing of protected native wildlife, and proper animal welfare.

We were about to revisit the rspca domestic animal section to take photos of the price sign, the poor dogs with the stiff frayed rags tied around their necks, and the inhumane dangerous squeaky toys in their pens when the rspca executive manager of animal welfare Glenn Howie came out stating that he was one of the exec directors, who I discussed the afterhours pens with, and asked him why they don’t educate DAS to install better afterhours pens. He said he was not happy with the rspca’s afterhour’s pens, and that it was upto the CEO Michael Linke to deal with DAS. Then a female joined us, who refused to give her name, but stated that she was also part of the exec directorate. How much taxpayers money is paid to all of these directors, ceo, while animals and wildlife suffer in their hands?

Glenn told me to leave before I got into a conversation about the afterhours lockups; they asked why I was taking photos. Well it was pretty obvious why I was taking photos.

I told the male we were going back into the domestic animal section, to which he said ‘no’ he wants me to leave and I have to have permission to take photos.

I ordered everyone off my property when they unlawfully trespassed and stole my wildlife from my private property on 10/8/12, however they ignored me and refused to leave, and yet they have the audacity to tell me to leave.

Well we did leave after I told them that I was a Wildlife Officer, to which he said, I was not, I argued back and stated, yes I am.

Wildlife Carers Group is also an animal welfare group that makes us Animal Welfare Officers as well.

Day 3: As shown in Day 2, the student was not available and had a large volume of notes to read through on Possum identification, care, treatment and rehabilitation.

Day 4: The student was sick and was emailed notes on Wildlife Carers Group submission on Molonglo and North Weston Developments, https://wildlifecarersgroup.wordpress.com/2012/09/26/wildlife-carers-group-submission-for-molonglo-and-north-weston-developments/ because education in wildlife habitat, and conservation is part of Wildlife Carers Groups Aims and Objectives. Wildlife Carers Group submission shows the vulnerable species in these construction sites, unlawfully killed and driven to extinction. The EPBC Act and NES has been breached by the government in section 146 that quite plainly states that the EPBC 1999 Act and NES take precedence over all developments. The student showed particular interest in Day 2, and asked what was happening on the Molonglo and North Weston construction sites as we drove past.

CIT Wildlife Training Course

I was asked to find out who was teaching the Wildlife Training Course at the CIT, and how do you get to handle wildlife during the course.

I phoned the CIT and was told that the former rspca manager who was then employed by TAMS is teaching the CIT wildlife training course. It is unknown whether or not she is still employed by TAMS.

This is quite a concern, since we watched how she inhumanely roughly mishandles and mistreats wildlife, without using towels to handle them, to avoid shock, and injects them without placing them on a hard surface first in order to ensure that they are secure and stable, to ensure that the needle penetrates the right area aimed for, she roughly throws them around back into the cages, and loves to unnecessarily and unlawfully kill rather than take the time with what she thinks are the more common wildlife to rehabilitate. None of this is a practice to be taught to students. Wildlife Carers Group had to seize back one of our own wildlife that inappropriately ended up at the rspca because she wanted to kill it.

Injured, sick and orphaned Wildlife rescued are scared and traumatised. They must be treated with gentle loving care. Carefully wrapped in towels or blankets, gently spoken to at all times to calm them down, and gently treated at all times.

She takes the students back home into her own backyard where she rehabilitates the wildlife for the students to see the wildlife and work with them.

In the Canberra Times article on 11/8/12, where the rspca slandered my name with defamatory lies falsely accusing me of animal cruelty, the rspca also claim that you cannot rehabilitate wildlife in your own backyard, instead the rspca wants to put the wildlife into their suffocating death machine containers that is completely inappropriate for any animal. I’m sure that the rspca have found a lot of dead animals in those containers that have slowly suffocated to death or died from heat exhaustion in the warmer days.

I phoned my local MP, who was not available so advised the female who answered the phone who advised that they have to go along with the Labor Party’s policy and cannot change anything.

I further discussed the annual government unlawful violent killing in 2012 and the further 30+ permits that are handed out all year round, for the killing of our protected native Eastern Grey Kangaroos in the ACT, so the EGK’s are tortured to death all year round until they are driven to extinction, and that the government never count the EGK’s before killing them, they only count them as they kill them. I also discussed the unlawful entry and stealing of my wildlife on my private property by the government department TAMS, and the rspca and police because I took the government to court for animal cruelty, to stop the Kangaroo killing, to make changes to their dysfunctional Acts and Policies, so the government abused taxpayers money to try and scare me off, who are also abusing their jobs.

ELECTIONS – WHO TO VOTE FOR

I attended a council ‘meet the candidates’ forum. Neither Liberal, Labor or Greens are prepared to stop the unlawful violent killing of Kangaroos in the ACT. I have not had either of these parties assist me in the unlawful entry and stealing of my wildlife from my private property to provide a public apology and the return of my stolen wildlife alive.

The continued Violence is inevitable with any of the above parties if they are re elected or elected. For these parties to be in constant denial that the animals do suffer under their current system, is encouraging a violent society not only towards innocent vulnerable dependent animals, but towards the human race as well.

Taxpayers money will continue to be abused for their own personal gain and personal vendettas against anyone at all, with innocent people targeted, your property unlawfully trespassed, you will be viciously harassed, you will have your name slandered with defamatory lies for any reason at all, unless you hear of a public apology to me, and my wildlife returned to me alive, and these parties stop living in denial ignoring the facts, and unless these parties announce that they will terminate those involved in unlawful trespassing and stealing of wildlife from a private property, and terminate everyone involved in the unlawful violent killing and herding of our protected native wildlife on quad bikes. Our Kangaroos will be driven to extinction, unless it is announced that the killing will stop, and that this year was the last year that our protected native Kangaroos are killed, and that they will work with me and Wildlife Carers Group.

Eastern Grey Kangaroos are not only unlawfully killed annually by the government; the government hands out 30 + permits a year, all year round to property owners to kill protected native Eastern Grey Kangaroos. It is inevitable that our native wildlife will be driven to extinction.

So far none of these parties have agreed to work with the experts. The government wish to continue to abuse taxpayers’ money by paying non experts and continue a violent society. Our Bush Capital will be lost, ignoring the majority of over 80% who wish to maintain our Bush Capital, and will be taken over by concrete, overcrowding, disease.

I asked questions and pointed out that the Government was abusing taxpayers money and are in breach of the EPBC Act 1999 and the NES, Katy Gallagher the Chief/TAMS Minister denied it, the Greens Shane Rattenbury who is also the Chair person in the Legislative Assembly denied it, only commented on the pink-tailed worm lizard, but said show me the evidence, Jeremy Hanson from the Liberal Party said that the Molonglo and North Weston Developments will continue and that we need the housing.

We do not need more housing, the ACT is losing population because no one can afford to live in the ACT. The cost of living in the ACT is currently the 2nd highest throughout Australia. There are a lot of empty houses that no one can afford to buy or rent, which need to be investigated to determine exactly how many empty houses there are currently sitting idle in the ACT, with the price tags needing to be dropped to make them sustainable and affordable.

Much to the candidates surprise, after we took a break, I handed out Wildlife Carers Group Molonglo and North Weston Developments Submission to Jeremy Hanson, then to Shane Rattenbury, and then to Katy Gallagher. As I handed out the document to each candidate I pointed out the paragraph and stated that this is where you are in breach, and then pointed out all the vulnerable species effected in their unlawful developments, and stated and these are all the species effected and added to Shane that there are more than just the Pink-tailed Worm Lizard that are effected in these areas. Shane said that the colony has been moved. It is absolutely impossible to move them. How did they move the colony? All 3 main parties are driving our native wildlife to extinction, not just the Eastern Grey Kangaroos, and are destroying our Bush Capital.

As far as the violent unlawful Kangaroo killing is concerned, it was also unanimous amongst all 3 parties with Jeremy Hanson who is in complete denial stating that it is humane, ignoring the visual photographic evidence that has been sent to him, https://wildlifecarersgroup.wordpress.com/2012/06/07/protected-native-violent-kangaroo-killing-in-the-act-7-june-2012/ Katy Gallagher saying that they have to keep the population under control, including other false rubbish such as they sit around the table with their experts, when they don’t, I have not been invited to sit in at any of their discussions on these matters, they do not know how many kangaroos there are, and as already pointed out, they do not count them, with the Kangaroos already being driven to extinction in the past, and having to be re introduced through the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and then re distributed throughout the ACT, and Shane said, we have discussed this many times. Yes we have, and they still are not listening to the real experts and the facts. and are still in complete denial, that they are driving our protected native wildlife to extinction, that the killing is unlawful and violent, and are also covering up protecting the guilty, protecting the criminals who are responsible rather than terminating them from their jobs placing a total ban on them from ever working with animals again. I also pointed out that the Kangaroos are being blamed for damages caused by cattle and people and that the nature reserves are there for native wildlife and not for cattle. Nature reserves are not there for the sheep either.

I was not able to respond to the candidates false statements since I had already handed the microphone back.

A male sitting infront of me commented about the high water costs and will this be dropped. Another ridiculous response by the candidates was that it was so high because no one is using the water and Actewagl are losing money on it. Well that is too bad, they cannot charge us for what we are not using. They can only charge us for the water we are using. Actewagl cannot charge us for the building of the dam that no one wanted, other than the minority Government and politicians. The fact is that Actewagl are charging us for the blowout cost of the dam as well, which again is unlawful. Actewagl can only charge us for the water that we use. Actewagl can sack their CEO, their Directors if they are losing money. There are less people living in the ACT, therefore, we should be paying the least amount in our water rates, because we are going to use less water anyway, being a smaller population, and yet we pay the highest water rates than any other large state, and any other state in Australia. This government rubbish about the water was aired on the news.

The cost of living will only keep going up as the government continues to pay non experts, CEO’s, Directors etc., with no one promising to terminate the employment such as the rspca, government officials, staff, who are not experts and who have abused taxpayers money. None of the political parties have promised to start working with the experts and paying the experts instead to make sure that they get it right this time around.

It is a good idea to research all the other candidates running, find out their policies before you vote on 20 October 2012, and avoid voting for the main parties or any other party whose votes will be given to any of these 3 main parties, if you want to see change and experts consulted rather than the same old people who get it wrong over and over again.

If the media want to help stop the government crimes and cover up they can boycott all these candidates from the 3 main parties and stop advertising for them, until they offer me a public apology for a start with the return of my stolen wildlife alive, and terminate everyone responsible for the crimes that they have committed, and show that in wildlife matters the rspca is fired from the jobs and that they are working with me and Wildlife Carers Group, to further show that they will start working with the real experts in other areas, abolish land and water rates and ensure that we are only charged for our water usage, abolish the GST, stop the destruction of the Bush Capital, keep electricity costs right down, that the victims are treated as victims, and not treat the criminals as victims encouraging them to reoffend, to place top priority over public safety, public safety on roads erecting No Parking signs where they have been requested to, etc,

don fletcher from tams says that kangaroos are not the main problem and in fact ‘native grasses’ are not threatened with extinction, but other animals and plants are, and that “the biggest ‘contributor’ to the loss of the natural treeless grasslands of our region has been agriculture (by far)”.

This statement is admitting to the flawed, dishonest kangaroo management plan, and russell watkinson’s media release, on Friday 18/6/10, that blames the kangaroos for driving legless lizards, earless dragons, etc, and the deteriorating grasslands and woodlands to extinction, by eating all the grasses, when fletcher admits that the native grasses are not threatened by the kangaroos, but by human activity, including toxic sprays.

‘KANGAROO CHILLER BOX INVESTIGATION’/’KANGAROOS ON TRACK TO EXTINCTION’, that contains the cruel bashing to death of roos that are shot, but not directly killed, hung up while still alive, and left suffering, trembling as they hang, tortured to death, and joeys bashed to death, possibly attempting to decapitate the joeys head on the back of the truck with several blows.

SEE the so called controlled government butchering, you will note that the kangaroos are still alive when hung up, suffering, AND BEING TORTURED TO DEATH, the male is laughing at the cruelty he has just inflicted on this kangaroo, a joey stomped to death, even the child stomps on it as he walks past following his father, orphaned joeys hopping around, left to starve to death, a joey bashed till its eyes popped out, but is still alive, suffering, a prolonged death, and the male admitting that these are protected species. Native protected animals called pests, the very same native animals that maintain a healthy well balanced eco system. The code of practice that the shooter refers to is inhumane, and unacceptable, as witnessed in this video footage. Kangaroos are not fit for human or dog consumption, heavily contaminated with various diseases/harmful bacterias, e.coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, toxoplasmosis, preserved illegally with sulphur dioxide that causes thiamine deficiency, (a white crystalline solid forming part of the vitamin B complex, C12H17CIN4OS; a vitamin (B1), required by the nervous system, absence of which causes beri-beri and other disorders), causing death, intake of pesticide spraying to control locusts, etc. Keep watching till it stops, keep an eye on the timer, next to the speaker symbol, length 10:59.

who are starving them to death, mismanaging them, mistreating them, will prevent driving these spectacular native wildlife species to extinction, and help end acts of animal cruelty. Changing the Qld government legislation and constitution, to humanely conserve this species, and their habitat. Erecting GIVE WAY to DINGOES/WILDLIFE Signs. We can see their marine life up and down the Qld coast, however, the only unique sighting that Fraser Island can boast about, and can offer to the tourists, is the pure breed native Dingoes, once the last 90 odd Dingoes, population estimation as of 28-29 August 2011, (since the mismanaged Fraser Island fire by the Qld government, this Dingo population has more than likely dropped dramatically), that are left on the Island are driven to extinction, through arrogance, mismanagement and mistreatment, Fraser Island will have nothing left to offer to the huge tourist trade it currently holds, which will end Fraser Island tourism. This species maintains a healthy well balanced ecosystem.

BACKYARD FEEDING

When feeding parrots in your backyard, please make sure that you only buy good quality parrot mix either loose or as parrot mix seed blocks. Avoid buying parrot mix with black sunflower seeds, and avoid buying just plain sunflower seeds without the nutrition of the rest of the parrot mix seeds. It is a good idea to mix canary mix with the loose parrot mix seeds so that your parrot mix will attract from small to large parrots. The debilitating parrots that are seen in the wild are as a result of poor quality parrot mix offered to them, and the feeding of just plain sunflower seeds.

Black sunflower seeds are very high in oil content that becomes addictive to the parrots, are very poor in nutrition, with the parrots refusing to eat a balanced nutritional diet, only eating the black sunflower seeds that will eventually slowly kill the parrots.

As far as rehabilitating these debilitated birds, a good nutritional diet with good quality parrot mix, mixed with canary mix, fruit and certain vegetables will successfully see these parrots looking healthy again. Avoid feeding the birds cabbage, parsley, broccoli. Killing these debilitated parrots is not necessary. They need time, patience and TLC. If they are unreleasable they need to be kept as companions to settle down incoming new patients. If you give talks, then the unreleasable birds are important to show for educational purposes.

The same applies to animals.

Avoid feeding mince meat to meat eating birds. Mince meat are full of preservatives that will lead to the meat eating birds developing deformities. Encourage the meat eating birds to eat the worms and grubs in your garden or compost.

Avoid feeding bread to your visiting birds, and any other visiting wildlife, including your own pets, they cannot digest bread, will develop diarrhoea and will slowly kill them.

PETITION TO BAN LIVE EXPORT – MORE ANIMAL CRUELTY EXPOSED BY ANIMALS AUSTRALIA

Wildlife Carers Group has received emails from Andrew Wilkie MP, Lyn White from Animals Australia, and Senator Lee Rhiannon Senator for NSW from the Greens urging us to take action to Ban All Live Export.

I have signed all of these petitions (plus more on wildlife, wildlife habitat, marine etc issues) on behalf of Wildlife Carers Group in relation to the animal cruelty and requested to BAN ALL LIVE EXPORT in the Subject headings.

The video in the link show these men in the abattoir laughing at the animal cruelty that they have committed/inflicted on a pregnant cow as they hang her up by her leg fully conscious, then they cut out the baby cow from the mother’s stomach, they slit their throats, the calf is still alive kicking with the throat cut, then they throw the live calf bellowing down the shute with these men still laughing. RSPCA SELLING STOLEN WILDLIFE BELONGING TO WILDLIFE CARERS GROUP

On 31/8/12 I decided to check out the rspca website to see if they are selling my protected native wildlife they stole from my property after their unlawful trespassing on my property on 10/8/12.

When I cleaned out my aviaries after the rspca ripped my wildlife out of their aviaries, on 10/8/12 there was blood all over the aviaries that I had to clean and scrub out.

I clicked on ‘adopt-a-pet’ link, then clicked on ‘.To view the animals currently awaiting adoption please here.’ link that sent me to another page where I clicked on ‘birds’ from a drop down menu, and sure enough, they are selling a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo that they named ‘Varric’ that could belong to Wildlife Carers Group.

The Cockatoo looks quite alarmed and frightened in their displayed photo, as shown below, and is clearly not a happy bird with the rspca, who stripped him from his friends.

This is what they write about the Cockatoo with the rspca’s photo of the bird that they are selling below:

“A little bit about me

Varric is a timid cocky, and not really a hands on bird, just not raised that way. This gorgeous bird needs to go to a home that would provide a large ineresting aviary, and because he is not going to have human interaction the aviary needs to provide lots of play things and natural native branches and things to chew on and destroy to stop boredom from setting in, I’m sure he would love to hear you talk to him often even if he doesn’t seem interested. Not sure of age but remember cockatoos live for a very long time and are a big commitment. Varric would also be an ideal companion for another cockatoo.”

Stolen Cockatoo from Wildlife Carers Group by the rspca? – Varric being sold by the rspca

It is unfortunate that I didn’t check the rspca website earlier to check on the rest of my wildlife stolen by the rspca when they unlawfully entered my property on 10/8/12.

The rspca don’t even know how to sex the Cockatoo where they write in the ‘Sex’ column ‘Unknown’.

This prompted me to send an online message to the rspca from their website on 31/8/12 when I wrote:

‘Is the white cockatoo Varric you are selling on your website one of the stolen cockatoos that you stole from my property on 10 August 2012 when you unlawfully trespassed onto my property and then defamed me with your vicious lies to the Canberra Times that appeared in Saturday’s Canberra Times on 11/8/12.

You are not permitted to kill or sell any of my wildlife; you are going to have to ensure that they are all returned to me.

We are not here for you to profit from us.

People do not take wildlife to you for you to profit from them and to sell them.

We paid for the phone calls the rescue the treatments and the care.

You are required to immediately reply to me by emailing wildlife_carers_group@yahoo.com.au.‘

The public take wildlife to the rspca for the same reason they bring them to me and to Wildlife Carers Group, to be rehabilitated, to be given proper treatment and to be cared for, if unreleasable, to be kept as companions for new incoming wildlife and to assist in training the public or to give talks to assist in identification, etc.

I couldn’t find any price tags on the wildlife the rspca are selling, but I’m sure it is a hefty price, since the rspca are there only to profit from animals/wildlife.

The rspca are also selling a Princess Parrot.

I wonder who they stole the Princess Parrot from.

GREENS PARTY ABUSING TAXPAYERS MONEY OFFERING THE RSPCA $1million.

TV News reported on 31/8/12 that the Greens Party MLA Caroline Le Couteur has announced that they will give the rspca $1million for animal welfare if they get re-elected in the October elections.

After everything that has happened to me and to Wildlife Carers Group, and my wildlife, the government torturing kangaroos to death with no one terminated from their jobs and prosecuted, as far as we know, etc, isn’t that a slap in the face for our protected native wildlife and animals here in the ACT.

Giving the rspca $1million is not going to help our animals welfare, the rspca will continue to abuse animals/wildlife, kill if they can’t sell it, kill if they have a personality clash, kill if they don’t like it, demand that they are taken off the wildlife rehabilitation licence if they don’t like it because they have no expertise knowledge or understanding in wildlife, wildlife habitat, conservation, the ecosystem, the kangaroos will continue to be tortured to death, in short, animal cruelty will continue under the rspca and the government and their government department TAMS.

By the way, Michael Linke, the highly over waged unqualified rspca CEO, who is paid by you the taxpayer, was not happy with the offer, he wanted much more.

You can expect no changes or improvements in ending animal cruelty, ending the wildlife abuse, violence and unlawful killing, ending the unlawful trespassing and stealing of wildlife by the government, the rspca and the police in the ACT if the Greens Party get re-elected.

The Greens Party have not offered me a Public apology with the order that my wildlife are to be immediately returned to me. They are fully aware of what has happened. I spoke with Caroline Le Couteur at the last GetUp meeting when she said she would be contacting TAMS, then she digressed and said she would be writing to the Chief/TAMS Minister.

I still don’t have my wildlife back, and I still haven’t received a public apology.

If the Labor Party don’t immediately offer me a public apology and order my wildlife to be returned alive to me, and the licence debacle fixed as per my conditions, then we will know that nothing will change if the Labor Party gets re-elected either.

What do the Liberal Party, and other Parties have to say about these unsavioury matters?

I Would appreciate feedback on what the Liberal Party and other Parties will do about these situations if they are elected.

RSPCA ANIMAL CRUELTY CONTINUES

The dog reported a number of times that is subject to animal cruelty and an uncontrolled dog belonging to 15 Drysdale Cct Kambah that the rspca refused to seize, and TAMS also refused to seize as an uncontrolled dog saga continues. The owner of now 2 dogs has a long history of animal cruelty and well known to the rspca as well for his acts of animal cruelty, who was kept under surveillance for some time, and yet the rspca still refused to seize his 1 dog, that has now multiplied to 2 dogs, when he had his pig hunting dogs, ripping each other apart, refusing to pay a vet to sew his seriously injured dogs up, he sewed them up himself without anaesthetic, torturing his dogs, as one by one they were killed by serious infections through the owner unlawfully sewing them up himself using non sterile equipment, and pigs, and let’s not forget how cruel pig hunting using dogs are to the pigs as well.

Photo of black dog taken 31/8/12 in the dreadful freezing cold 2% rain, hail, snow that came down seconds after this photo was taken with the poor dog left on the back of the truck exposed, with no shelter, no food, no water, with the truck parked on the road dangerously so his dog can get killed by oncoming traffic with someone else who drives around the blind bend from behind the back of the truck.

This photo was taken on 13/8/12, and as you can see not only has his 1^st dog been left with him for ongoing abuse, he has been allowed to register a 2^nd dog, so that he can abuse 2 dogs with his truck parked on the road with both of the dogs left on the back of his truck with no shelter, no food and no water hoping both of his dogs get killed on the back of the truck parked dangerously on the road. The 2^nd dog howls and barks and is not a happy dog either.

I sent this email to DAS (the dog pound) on the same day with the above photo:

‘Good afternoon,

Further to my previous emails, my phone call to you about his second dog, I have attached a photo taken today 13/8/12 showing you his 2 dogs kept on the back of the truck yue 022 parked dangerously and illegally on the road, causing an obstruction, endangering the dogs lives, and of course people’s lives, but clearly public safety is of no concern to you, being abused by this long term of 30 years reoffending dog offender, dog abuse, animal cruelty.

You claim that animal welfare is not your concern.

When you receive visual photographic evidence of animal cruelty, uncontrolled/ROAMING dog, then before you allow the same reoffending dog offender to register a 2nd dog, animal welfare should play a serious part in your assessment on who can have a 2nd dog.

The new 2nd dog is howling and barking, clearly not a happy dog.

I refer you to previous emails and photos sent.

We require you to seize both dogs from this property at 15 Drysdale Cct Kambah to prevent any further abuse to the dogs.

Of course even though Parking Operations and Roads ACT are paid to place top priority on public safety, public safety isn’t parking operations or roads ACT concern either as they allow this truck to be permanently parked dangerously on the road on, before, near or after blind bends, roundabouts, causing an obstruction with drivers being forced to drive unlawfully on the wrong side of the road in the narrow circuit who refuse to book him, and refuse to display ‘no parking’ signs throughout the small circuit to keep him in his driveway that is mostly empty.

Wildlife Carers Group has contacted both the rspca and das (domestic animal services – dog pound) to seize the dog from 15 Drysdale Cct Kambah, and requested that they work together to seize the dog.

The rspca came out and saw the dog, and agreed with Wildlife Carers Group that the dog was underweight, saw that the dog was inhumanely kept on the back of the truck, uncontrolled, parked dangerously on the road, and yet still refused to seize the dog that is shown in the attached photo no.3 dated 21/5/12. The dog did not remain on the back of the truck. The owner went away and left the dog there, which is why the rspca could not speak with him, and yet all they did was leave a note on his door, and leave the dog there so that he can continue to commit acts of animal cruelty.

DAS was also requested to come out and seize the dog, but refused to.

As you are all aware, the ongoing reports of animal cruelty and the uncontrolled dog went ignored, and as the email dated 13 August 2012, above for your information showed, the reoffending dog offender was allowed to register a 2nd dog to abuse and to use as a harassing dog, cause an animal nuisance, with double the trouble using and abusing 2 dogs in the attached photo dated 13/8/12.

Attached Photo dated 21/4/12, shows the roaming dog defecating on private/public land, other photos were sent that were clearer so that DAS could identify the dog when the owner went away for 3 days, kicked the dog out into the street and left the dog to fend for itself.

The dog from this property was also reported last year for animal cruelty left on the back of the truck in a 30 degree heat with no food and water. While the rspca abuse your taxpayers money from their government funding and your donations to them to falsely defame people like myself, harass us, and steal properly cared for wildlife in my care, that we protect from the rspca and the government, and their government department TAMS from their death sentence, and who try to shut down groups like myself who genuinely protect wildlife and domestic animals, both wildlife and domestic animals suffer in the hands of the rspca, who refuse to seize dog cruelty cases such as this one, but will unlawfully trespass on private property and steal properly cared for wildlife from people like me, the violent unlawful killing will never stop, the unlawfull killing by the rspca will never stop, and animals and wildlife will never be given the chance to their right to live.

Animals have to be given to suitable homes for FREE to prevent unlawful killing of healthy animals. The everyday unnecessary killing of animals and wildlife is animal cruelty.

If the rspca cannot make money out of the animal, they will face a death sentence under the rspca.

If you want to help save animals and help save and protect our protected wildlife, boycott the rspca.

As you are aware, all uncontrolled dogs are unpredictable, and are a danger to people, other animals, wildlife and to themselves, and that it only takes a split second for a dog to attack a person, another animal, wildlife.

At 2:34pm yesterday the world’s second largest super trawler docked in Australia, despite having no license to fish in our waters and facing massive community opposition. It can fish with nets whose mouth stretches up to 100 meters high, 200m meters wide and 600m long – that’s longer than the length of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It vacuums up everthing in its way killing dolphins, seals, migratory sea birds and other protected species.

But, there’s one person who has the power and authority to stop the super trawler from plundering our seas: Federal Fisheries Minister Joe Ludwig. Despite this issue being on the agenda for weeks, he’s been dragging his heels and advised media on Tuesday that he was yet to make a decision one way or another on the super trawler. Let’s help him decide!

With your help an ad which shows the shocking by-catch of a super trawler can be run on Monday in The Australian, to show Joe Ludwig that Australians will not accept the super trawler’s impact on our marine life:

Almost 78,000 people have signed the petition to stop the super trawler, begun by GetUp member Rebecca Hubbard on GetUp’s new community campaigning tool, CommunityRun.org. As people come to understand the incredible damage the super trawler will do in Australian seas, they are moved to action.

The shocking photo in this ad, provided by our friends at Greenpeace, was taken by a fisheries researcher whilst on board another Dutch-owned super trawler fishing off Mauritania in 2006. It’s a stark and shocking reminder that super trawlers, with their enormous nets, are designed to catch everything it their path.

The target species the ship wants are mackrel and redbait but there is no proven way to stop seals, dolphins and other marine life getting trapped and crushed in the enoroumous net. Scientists also say that the 18,000 tonnes of fish the trawler could be allowed to catch is far too high and based on outdated information – concluding there is not a scientific case to allow the trawler to fish in Australian waters.

The person who has responsibility to stop the super trawel is the Fisheries Minister, Joe Ludwig.

Each of us can help make Joe Ludwig’s decison a lot easier by making sure the implications of his decison are widely known. Can you chip in to get this ad in The Australian?

Dear Nora

In less than three weeks, there’s a blockbuster hitting our shores that you don’t want to see. It’s super-sized, super-destructive and its trail of devastation is coming to an ocean near you!
One of the world’s largest fishing boats, the Dutch-owned FV Margiris, has just finished fishing out the waters off West Africa, where it hammered already-exploited fish stocks and left it even harder for local fishers to catch fish. Now, an Australian Fishing company, Seafish Tasmania, want this factory trawler to plunder for small fish that are critical to marine ecosystems in waters off Tasmania.
Ironically, after the fish are caught they’ll be sold to African countries for human consumption for a measly $1/kg.

It’s difficult to fathom the size of this giant vessel – at 142 metres long and nearly 9500 tonnes it makes most Australian fishing boats look like bath toys. A floating factory and freezer, it can process over 240 tonnes (that’s 240,000 kilograms) of fish PER DAY and can store 6.2 MILLION kilograms of fish cargo. But the devouring net of the super trawler won’t just catch small fish. Dolphins, seals and seabirds will likely be accidental victims of this massive trawler. The ‘excluder devices’ designed to protect threatened species are in no way guaranteed to work for a net this size.
Even the species spared from the net will feel the destruction of this factory trawler. The small fish it scoops up are a vital food source for critically endangered southern bluefin tuna, rare marine mammals, seabirds and other big fish that are important ecologically, as well as to recreational and other commercial fishers.

Our Ministers for fisheries and the environment have the power to prevent this industrial super trawler operating in Australian waters, but they need to hear you don’t want it here. Opposition is growing but we need to make our voices louder. We need to speak up. We must convince them to turn this boat around.
The impacts of this decision go beyond this single fishery. Please make your voice heard and send a quick message to Fisheries Minister Joe Ludwig and Environment Minister Tony Burke here…

Wildlife Carers Group also signed petitions for PETA to help stop Animal Cruelty committed to animals at UTMB:

An insider at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) has blown the whistle on animal abuse and neglect in the university’s laboratories. According to the whistleblower, dogs were mutilated in experimental surgeries; sheep, pigs, and mice were subjected to third-degree burns on up to 40 percent of their bodies and reportedly deprived of adequate pain relief; and mice died because UTMB staff members didn’t notice that the animals had no access to water. The whistleblower also reported that inadequate veterinary care, inept personnel, careless handling, and neglect were daily problems in the university’s labs.

Wildlife Carers Group also signed the urgent petition to stop Animal Cruelty at MarineLand:

A harbour seal who’s gone blind. Five dolphins who have lost skin. Two sea lions who developed such bad illnesses that they’ve had to be kept in dry cages for months to try to recover. »

These are all health problems that have been caused by the conditions at MarineLand in Niagara Falls, Ontario. According to former employees, many of the animals have experienced severe health issues caused by neglect.

MarineLand is licensed by the self-regulating Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and there are no government regulations for keeping sea mammals in captivity in Canada.

The staff quitting in protest won’t save the seals, whales, and dolphins whose health continues to deteriorate. In fact, MarineLand owner John Holer has plans to expand.

We must save these intelligent animals from any more suffering.

don fletcher from tams says that kangaroos are not the main problem and in fact ‘native grasses’ are not threatened with extinction, but other animals and plants are, and that “the biggest ‘contributor’ to the loss of the natural treeless grasslands of our region has been agriculture (by far)”.

This statement is admitting to the flawed, dishonest kangaroo management plan, and russell watkinson’s media release, on Friday 18/6/10, that blames the kangaroos for driving legless lizards, earless dragons, etc, and the deteriorating grasslands and woodlands to extinction, by eating all the grasses, when fletcher admits that the native grasses are not threatened by the kangaroos, but by human activity, including toxic sprays.

SEE the so called controlled government butchering, you will note that the kangaroos are still alive when hung up, suffering, AND BEING TORTURED TO DEATH, the male is laughing at the cruelty he has just inflicted on this kangaroo, a joey stomped to death, even the child stomps on it as he walks past following his father, orphaned joeys hopping around, left to starve to death, a joey bashed till its eyes popped out, but is still alive, suffering, a prolonged death, and the male admitting that these are protected species. Native protected animals called pests, the very same native animals that maintain a healthy well balanced eco system. The code of practice that the shooter refers to is inhumane, and unacceptable, as witnessed in this video footage. Kangaroos are not fit for human or dog consumption, heavily contaminated with various diseases/harmful bacterias, e.coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, toxoplasmosis, preserved illegally with sulphur dioxide that causes thiamine deficiency, (a white crystalline solid forming part of the vitamin B complex, C12H17CIN4OS; a vitamin (B1), required by the nervous system, absence of which causes beri-beri and other disorders), causing death, intake of pesticide spraying to control locusts, etc. Keep watching till it stops, keep an eye on the timer, next to the speaker symbol, length 10:59.

Changing the Qld government legislation and constitution, to humanely conserve this species, and their habitat. Erecting GIVE WAY to DINGOES/WILDLIFE Signs. We can see their marine life up and down the Qld coast, however, the only unique sighting that Fraser Island can boast about, and can offer to the tourists, is the pure breed native Dingoes, once the last 90 odd Dingoes, population estimation as of 28-29 August 2011, (since the mismanaged Fraser Island fire by the Qld government, this Dingo population has more than likely dropped dramatically), that are left on the Island are driven to extinction, through arrogance, mismanagement and mistreatment, Fraser Island will have nothing left to offer to the huge tourist trade it currently holds, which will end Fraser Island tourism. This species maintains a healthy well balanced ecosystem.
